Restaurant Ohms

Located directly on the banks of the Elbe you will find the restaurant of the Dorint Parkhotel Meißen in the villa of the same name "Ohm".

Built in 1870 by Dr. Felix Ohm, the villa is one of the few undestroyed Art Nouveau villas in Germany. As the owner of the chemical company "Bidteli", Dr. Felix Ohm had a special eye for detail. For example, he had the façade of the villa fitted with white and coloured "facing bricks" and the roof decorated with coloured roof tiles. In addition, special glazes, produced by his company for the construction industry, were also used for Villa Ohm.

The "Ohm's Villa", as it is often called, is located not far from the banks of the Elbe. In the Belvedere winter garden you can enjoy a unique, picturesque and romantic view of the cathedral, the Albrechtsburg castle and of course the Elbe river - especially during sunset.

In our restaurant you can enjoy Ohms's Saxon and international dishes, which are enchanted by our chef executive and his team.

• Tuesday to Saturday from 06.00 p.m. to 10.00 p.m. (kitchen until 09.00 p.m.)
• Closed on Monday and Sunday
